In 2015, a demonstration match of Wheel Ball – a special wing of Roll Ball, was conducted during the 3rd World event held in Pune, India. This event marked the sport’s initial introduction to an international audience. Following eight years of extensive research and development, the first official match of Wheel Ball was played in 2023 during the 6th World Cup, once again hosted in Pune, India. It was at this event that Wheel Ball was formally launched and officially announced as a sport.
